Athletics Day!!!!!!

Hey guys it's Shivarya :) just wanted to say well done to everyone that took part in the athletics day! And for Lorie's sake WELL DONE!!!!!!

Hockey

I was super proud of our girls today!  They played their first hockey match of the season.  Although they did not win....it didn't matter because they really played with all their heart...which is the most important thing.  Saiyuri was an excellent goal keeper who stopped quiet a few goals and the ball was in Eden's half for most of the 1st half of the game.  They also had to play against quiet a few budding golfers who were shooting the ball into the air a lot of the time, resulting in 2 of our girls getting hurt.  Anyway, we need not be despondent girls!  Take it as a learning experience and know that you did your best.  Mwwa!

Eden's Got Talent

WOWEE!!!  Last night was awesome!   Eden truly has amazing talent! A huge congratulations and well done to all who took part in Eden's got Talent.  I was extremely proud of the boys who took part - Chris, Pranaam, Tino, Usanda and Jasper.  You are all winners to me:)

Welcome back!

Hi everyone!

Welcome back to this very short, very busy term!  Only about 6 weeks left and tons of work to get through.  Dont let your guard down for a minute or let the work pile up...it'll just stress you out.

Some dates to diarise:

•  Sports photos on Friday (Carter's birthday:)
•  Return Spell-a-thon forms as soon as you can (remember the class that brings in the                            most money wins a prize!)
• Zulu oral on Wednesday, 7 August
• EMS test on Tuesday 13 August
• SS test 20 August
• isiZulu test Wed 21 August                                                                                                                 

Remember to bring in those empty Omo liquid bottles (whoever brings theirs first can have mine too)          

We had a wonderfully, successful Greenfest on Sunday!  Thank you to all parents and children who attended and particularly Mrs Brijkumar who helped us at our stall on the day...it was much appreciated!

Well done to the whole Grade 7 class who gave a wonderful performance of "Haven't a clue"

Finally congratulations to Sunaav who won the "Capitals" competition!
